Key board and mouse dont work

sometimes a key/button on keyboard or mouse gets stuck (pressed), you restore it to original position ( and restart) If it is not solved then try re-installing the drivers
I had the same problem.

My mouse and keyboard won't work...after i restart it several times, then it works,,,it will wake up out of standby or start up,but the mouse won't move, sometimes when the mouse does move the keyboard won't...

i assumed that you use device PS2 (Mouse & Keyboard), this rarely situation, but you haved installed and not more better, because the problem not with your system, but with your hardware, maybe you can change with USB Mouse Device and for Keyboard PS2 is better than USB Keyboard.

My mouse wont work on my home PC all of a sudden

Some Computers take longer than others to recognize that there is a
mouse plugged into the computer. If it is a USB mouse try plugging it into a different port or, if a disc came with the mouse, run the disc and install it manually. If all that fails consult a experienced HP consultant. Hope this helps and please don't forget to rate.

Mouse pad inactive

if it is a laser mouse, try cleaning the laser. if it is a ball mouse, remove the ball and try cleaning the inside where the ball sits. if that doesn't work, check the cables including the part that connects to the computer.

Mouse and keyboard suddenly stopped working on Dell b110 desktop

Disconnect external peripherials except keyboard and mouse .Disconnect the power cable.Hold the power button for 10 seconds to drain flea power.Reconnect the power cable and turn on the computer When the blue DELL™ logo appears, press immediately. In bios there is option for Function key F9 or F10 probably to reset to defaults.SAve and exit and restart the system .Then try to use the PC restore feature on dell. check http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim1100/en/SM/syssetup.htm#wp1055545

Good Luck.

I have an inspiron laptop. the two USB on the side stopped working all of a sudden however when I checked the computer stated that they are working fine

may i know what device was connected to those ports?try connecting a mouse to the same ports and see whether it is detected. If it works well and fine.Other wise goto Control panel>>System>>Device manager>>Universal Serial Bus Controllers>>Here, delete all the USB Root hubs.If you are removing them using a mouse connected, then u might lose the mouse response after u delete the USB Root hubs. Please note this.Restart the system after deleting all the Root hubs and wait for a few seconds for them to get installed back.Restart again and confirm whether the issue is resolved

My Logitech Medialife mouse will suddenly stop in its ability to move the cursor; and when it happens, the Touchpad also will become inoperable. Which leaves me with only one option: shut down my PC...

Can you notice if the mouse stops when using a certain program or while you've been on the pc for a length of time. When hardware stops it could be conflicts with other programs, a driver issue, battery. If your mouse worked without problems not long ago I'd first try a system restore back to the time when it worked. To do a restore click on programs, accessories, system tools and the system restore. Pick a day on the calendar before when the mouse was working and let the pc restore back to that time. It will restart then see if it works for you.
Thanks,
Henry
