- I have the same problem, but want to use it with a voicemail system rather than an answering machine. Even setting it up to answer on second ring doesn't do the trick.- GuestSep 26, 2008
- the fax machine doesn't auto-answer before the answering machine picks up, auto-answer isn't even in the setup menu, I have my ring to answers set up exactly as the manual says and hp won't talk to me on the phone about it because phone support is no longer available so I have to wait for them to e-mail me back with yet another tip that I have already tried... somebody help me- trevor211
