I have a GPA 1000 amplifier. One side plays and the other side will not light up nor play.
Problem for Kicker 04KX350.4 Car Audio Amplifier
KICKER KX350.4 sound fading in and out
my amp fell over in the trunk one day and the sound went out, now the sound is very low then fades out then back in...the green power and red protection lights are alternating. i replaced the fuse at the battery and checked the connections. i dont know whats wrong, is this amp toast?
im running this amp and a monoblock sub amp and a 1 farad cap with 0 and 4 gauge wire. (0 ga from battery to distributor, 4 ga to the amps)

- yeah, i disconnected them it still not working right and the power and protection lights are still flashing.. :(Solution #1

Does the amp continue to go into protection if you disconnect the speaker wires from the speaker terminals?
