Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
I've tried booting my laptop in the following modes:
Safe Mode (quits working at atisgkaf.sys)
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration (most recents that worked)
Start Windows Normally
they all fail and default to the screen that reads:
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfuly"
All i can say is reinstall windows, or do the better thing and go with linux (i would use ubuntu, particularly the kubuntu variant: linux http://www.linux.com/welcome/ ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com/ kubuntu http://www.kubuntu.org/

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
