I have a Vivitek RP51HD41-A TV. The TV keeps turning off and on. The color and sound is fine. I have replaced the lamp and this has not fixed the problem.

If its a DLP it may have a color wheel which could be your problem (the colors will change etc)

Color wheels move at high speed and if slow down set will shut down.

The wheel if there will face the lamp. If often if failing will make a high pitched whine or a fan like sound.

My Smasung projection TV keeps flickering, also every hour or so the screen turns to a green flicker. I have to unplug the power cord and that temporarily fixes the problem. How do I stop the flickering?

The tv colors wheel is dying, replaced the tv colors wheel, will solved this problems.Hire a tv Tech.to change the tv colors wheel,it pretty hard to change the colors wheel in this tv.Because u require take out many machanical parts before u even can come to the tv colors wheel itself to change it.

I own a pioneer projection monitor model SD-532HD5. It has been flickering on and off where it goes from its crisp color to a hazy type picture. Yesterday, it flickered and the picture went away...

This TV is known for bad solder joints on the Power board. Call a good TV Tech and have him resolder the Power board. It is on the right hand side of the TV looking from the back.

Please recheck component connections in both units and make sure to hook up them according to corresponding colors like blue to blue, red to red and orange to orange.

Mitsubishi WD-52327 Picture flickers and goes blue

In your case I've seen this and it was a electrical issue between the DLP fan and board. The tv could have a problem with the digital tuner and not kicking a code due to low voltage ... it isn't expensive to fix, just hard to diagnose.

Do you smoke? The fans suck in smoke and it gets tar build up on the connections and that causes this in some cases too.

Picture flickers, loses color, goes green, white, and negative, then TV turns off.

the unit has a bad color wheel.rca has seen this problem before. The color wheel has a bad bearing which over time can seize causing the single color you see.Keep on them they know it is defective
