Have you tried hitting the "Reset" button on the head unit?

The procedure is on page 7 of the owner's manual under the heading "How to reset your unit"

Here's the URL for the Owner's Manual:
http://inform3.kenwoodusa.com/manuals/KVT-719DVD.pdf

Per the owner's manual, you're supposed to call Kenwood technical support if the display doesn't correctly reset or come back on and/or if the disc won't eject.

I have a kenwood kvt-920dvd and have a cd stuck in it. how do I manually take it out? I have tried resetting it but it has done nothing

If the unit does not recognize the CD inside you may just have to crack the case open to get it out. Or manually cycle the CD by opening it and putting power to the motors that drive the CD changer Eject. Unfortunately there is not easy way for me to tell you. In my 15 years I've had this happen quite a few times and have found it easier to just open and remove. But if you've never done it before, take it to a local shop they can the tools and know how. Plus if they break it they are responsible for it.

Hi, i have just installed the kenwood kvt 522dvd in my bmw 320d saloon 2006 model. I cant seem to get the dvd player to work as it keeps saying that the parking break is off?

your parking break must be on in order to view video on the screen. its a common safety on most in car dvd screens intended to be installed in-dash

How do i set up my bluetooth for my kenwood kvt-512. im trying to find the bluetooth app in the settings

The Kenwood 512 works with the Kenwood KCE-BT200 module. You need to have this box plugged into the main unit to work. If not, then Bluetooth will not be available. When you do have it connected, use your cellular phone to initiate the connection. when prompted on your phone for a passcode, it will be 0000. After successfully pairing your phone to the unit, you can access the telephone menu by holding the "FNC" key on the front of the Kenwood or pressing "TEL" from the source screen.

I have a kenwood 719 flip out monitor and i put a cd in it and the monitor says mecha error and won't let the cd come out. It just makes a bunch of noises. I pressed the reset button but that didn't work....

You can try to push the CD in further with an object and then try ejecting (be careful not to break the CD!). Also, the soft reset button on the outside of the unit may not work, but disconnecting constant power (hard reset) may cause the CD to automatically be ejected when powered back up again. This can be done by disconnecting the negative battery terminal on the car for 15 seconds. If these don't work, visit a local Kenwood stereo dealer for service as this is a common issue with the 719 series and 819 series.
