Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Sorry, no easy answer to this one. The servo light not coming on usually means the protection circuit is sensing an issue with one, or both channels, and not allowing the speaker relay to close. One bad channel can cause no output from both channels. This could be caused by one or more bad capacitors, (common in older amplifiers) or a more severe problem, like blown semiconductors. Only way to find out is to have a competent technician pull the cover, and make some voltage checks at key test points inside the amp. This is not a do it yourself job.
