Unplug unit for twenty four hours, then try again. If this does not help, take to pro/tech

IPod classic stopped working. No response at all. It was working fine one day and the next day, nothing.

batterys are loose with intermittent power to thermostat circuit board place a tightly folded aluminum foil to about a 1/4inch square and place it between or at either end of the AA batteries. This tightens the connection and makes for a better contact.

Model ADA885 Power went out. ACP Backup unit worked as usual. When power restored speaker system will not function. Only buzzing sound from speakers. Speaker controls do not work. No response...

the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
hope this helps

Power supply unit gets power as light on the back shows but pc wont turn on. Have tried differnt PSU and pc turned on but have had unit checked and they said the PSU is working fine. Cant fit standard PSU...

Try this to get it at-least back on with your PSU that fits in the case. open up your computer case, locate your power supply. With the AC cord still plugged in , unplugged the connectors to your motherboard from the PSU and wait about 10secs. Then replugged them in. This should power on your PC.
Also, You wanna check around where the PSU connects to the motherboard and make sure there is no damage. No burning,Discoloration anything that could be potential damage.
Hope this works atleast to get the PC booting up.

Hpvs17e white backround is pink

hucknannie, Power down the pc and monitor. Then disconnect and reconnect the VGA cable a few times to the rear of the pc. then turn system back on and re-boot. If your "PINK" screen still there, then you may need to have unit refurbished with new "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamps" or have the internal "switch- mode-power supply/ccfl-inverter-supply" inspected and repaired. Yes, before you do anything, visit this web blog about HP monitors!!! http://www.lesliewong.us/blog/2005/05/02/hp-pavilion-f1703-flat-panel-display-blackout-solution/ Read and make note that people are still visiting the blog even after 4 years!! Hope this response helps. Feel free to leave a comment and also rate this response on fixya. 12fixlouie
