Paper jam ib HP PSC 1600is fixed, but error message still appears

My HP 1600 All-in-One had a paper jam, and it was totally cleared - I am sure as I have worked with copiers for years. However, I still get the message that I should clear the jam and press OK. When I do press OK, the paper feeds through very nicely - and stops more than half way through. If it would feed a little longer, it would go completely through. Obviously, there is no jam, yet the message remains. Any suggestions?

HP PSC 2210 has the error message 'Open Door, Clear Carriage Jam, and then Press Enter'. No paper jams present?

Check door for paper stuck in front of sensor. There is a door in the back look to see if paper shred is in there infront of the back door sensor.

Hi,

open the rear access door and clean the rollers with a cloth, dam it with little water and unplug the machine and press and hold the ON button for 1 min and release the button and plug in the power cord, it should resolve the issue.

Hp 2355 all in one error message

reset to factory defaults, also check the whole printer for paper jams. A paper jam can often casue smaller pieces to get stuck in gears or rollers. The message about opening and closing the lid is how the printer knows you went in to check it and closeing it triggers it to try again. If thers still a jam it will keep giving the message. The fist jam was caused by something, check and make sure there isnt any pieces of plastic broken off inside. If it has a rear access panel, check there also.
