Question about Mitsubishi VS-45609 TV
I've had this TV for a few years now and I love it. It still has a great picture but lately the image seems to zoom in and out. When a bright image is displayed the image gets large, and the edges fall off the screen. At its worst it can split the station logo in half. when the image is darker the size seems to return to normal. In the begining after the set warmed up it went away but now it don't. I tend to run the brightness and contrast settings lower than default so I don't think I'm pushing it too hard.
Check your b+ goin to the flyback, and see if the voltage changes durring picture changes. if this is too high or moves around alot, then you have more then normal then i would check your p/s. either or it could be a weak regulator. Also could be something else, i know that magnavox has a problem with this, and they have you replace 2 sm trasistors on bottom of board in the ABL line, i believe.
I checked the mitz web site and they have nothing listed for this problem. might also want to check caps in p/s and 100uf on signal board while your in it.
