I have a 1996 300ZX Fairlady Left hand drive. I tried replacing the battery. Now the head light flash and wont start. WHY? must I reset? and Where?

No, that is not true, you can only use one from another 300ZX, 1990-91 for a manual transmission, 1990-93 for an automatic. Also you have to get the one for if you have twin turbo, or one if you don't.

I have a Nissan 300zx twin turbo 1990.... The engine and car are in very good condition ... well serviced... The idle speed will not go below 2000 rpm can you help as there is no manual adjustment...????

You may be having an over heating issue. If it has a rattle noise coming from the engine then it may be overheating. It may also be a timing issue. Check into both of these and see if you cant find the problem. Hope this helps. Good luck.

It's down in the driver's kick panel next to the dead pedal where you rest your left foot. The cover for the fuse panel faces the center of the car.

rear main seal is the leak to fix: drop transmission remove clutch, drop oil pan and replace seal. seal is about 30 bucks, if your not auto savy id let a shop do it.. prolly around 800 tho...

You really have just five choices here:

1. eBay. That's where I found mine. It took an age, but I eventually found one but it was pricey.
2. Post classified wanted ad on sites such as www.300zxclub.com.
3. Local pick-and-pull car dismantlers, but phone ahead to save you an unnecessary trip. Z32s are not that common in wrecking yards.
4. Online parts companies, such as RockAuto, not as expensive as the dealer.
5. Pay retail from your local Nissan dealer.
