Plug off the wall first.
Remove rear panel of washer, and undo 2 screws that secure the motor,
lever motor back with a screwdriver or similar, and unplug motor lead. Be sure to keep hold of the motor so it does
not drop on the floor.
You will see the brushes at the terminal end of motor, if they are any shorter
than 1 cm replace brushes.
