How to create a ringtone for iphone

You'll need - Audio song, a song editor, iTunesFollowing are the steps needed to follow:

  1. Select any song
  2. open that song in the song editor and extract the part you want to create as ringtone
  3. Save the clip, export it as format - M4A (i.e. m4a format) - say myringtone.m4a
  4. goto the clip in your file system, change the extension to m4r, i.e. myringtone.m4r
  5. double click the file, it should automatically get added to ringtones under your iTunes installation.
  6. Enjoy!!
Restrictions: clip can be up to 40secs in length.

hi,
your memory card must having system like this ,audio ,video ,system etc..if nothing,do this format it in your phone ,waiy until its done..
now go to the next step ,you need card reader ,insert it in your pc and wait to recognized your memory card...
if the card is already recognized by your PC ,open audio folder then select digital....open your folder of songs in PC ,select the song you want download ,copy it then paste to folder DIGITAL in your card...
it will not play if you dont have mp3 player so download it and paste to your folder SYSTEM folder...

Please follow the troulbe shooting steps given below.
press menu key, select profile, Under that select advance, press menu key, click on edit, select phone, you will get all the option, Click on ringtone, select Browser, under that select music you will list of songs, select anyone those songs for you're ringtone you will be able to hear the ringtone for you're selected songs.

Try to follow the following steps;
1. Start, then Run, then enter REGEDIT to open the Editor
2. Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Class entry
3. Under the Class entry, double click on {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
4. In the right-hand pane, click ONCE to select the UpperFilters entry
5. Make sure the UpperFilters entry is highlighted, press Delete, then Yes.
6. In the right-hand pane, click ONCE to select the LowerFilters entry
7. Make sure the LowerFilters entry is highlighted, press Delete, then Yes.
8. Close the Registry Editor by clicking File, Exit.
