Try reinstalling the driver for the wireless adaptor.

The WPC54G is a linksys wireless adaptor installed on your laptop. It is possible the technician overlooked reinstalling the driver, and should be called upon to correct his mistake. If the adaptor worked before you took it in, and now it doesn't, he/she is liable to fix the problem.

Internet not conect

Hello,

If you are unable to connect to internet. There are few things you can try:

1) Reinstall the Ethernet drivers. Go to control panel> add/remove programs> uninstall the Intel or Realtek Ethernet drivers. Then reinstall the drivers from the motherboard disc provided with this pc. Make sure you install only the ethernet drivers.

2) If your pc is giving any kind of error message like limited connectivity then its a problem with your ISP(Internet service provider) or the windows operating system itself. Call your ISP and let them check the issue if they can't help go for a repair install of windows using the disc.

Hope that helps!

Yahoo Messenger Error's!!

Hi,

How many of us have seen Error Message's like :-

1. YPager.exe
2. Sorry for Inconvenience
3. Window's Unable to Download Yahoo Messenger

The Most Common Reason for the First and Second Error Message is Software Corruption. Whenever you see Error Messages 1 and 2, it always indicate there has been a recent change in Registry.

You could Read a Nice Article for the same :-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Registry

Now,

The ONLY way to fix this is to REINSTALL Yahoo Messenger.

Go to :-

Start > Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall Program > Select Yahoo > Uninstall

The Above steps are Generic One.

Then, Reinstall the Yahoo Messenger.

Now,

For Error 3, Make sure that you do have a Working Internet Connection and you are able to download other files. I have seen issue with Yahoo Messenger with Slow Connection.

Download the Yahoo Messenger from the Below Sites than from Yahoo Messenger Site :-

http://www.download.com
http://brothersoft.com

As of now, let me provide you with a Link from where you could directly Install Yahoo Messenger ( Link working right now ) :-

http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Yahoo-Messenger-Download-4411.html

If Problem still Persists, Seems that there is a Virus/Adware/Spyware problem. It could also mean a problem with Windows.

In that Case, Either Restore or Reinstall Your Windows.

Thanks!!

Error message

The most common cause of this issue is not restarting the computer following the installation of Internet Explorer 7. It seems that if you do not restart Windows immediately after the installation has completed, it causes some side-effects, particularly the error you describe. This may not have been your fault, as the Internet Explorer 7 update may have been automatically downloaded and installed from the Windows Update website. After the update was installed, and you were prompted to restart, you might have elected not to restart (as you did not realise the implications of such) and thus now the program does not work correctly. In this case, the workaround for the issue is to uninstall Internet Explorer 7, through the “Add/Remove Programs” control panel, and then reinstall Internet Explorer 7. Make sure you restart the computer once the installation has completed!

Apart from reinstalling Internet Explorer 7 I was unable to find any other workarounds for the problem. Some users have reported having to reinstall Windows, but this is only in extreme cases. In the worst case, you may have to just uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and go back to using Internet Explorer 6. However, I imagine you might like the new Internet Explorer 7 features such as tabbed browsing. Should this be the case, and you are unable to resolve the problem with Internet Explorer 7, perhaps another alternative is to try Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox). This is a very popular free open-source web browser, with many of the same features (tabbed browsing, RSS integration, etc.). This could be a useful compromise if you are still unable to get Internet Explorer 7 to work correctly.
