Hello,

Check a few things:

Make sure your hose is not chewed or marred.
Make sure you are turning the unit on and off correctly. Webers are different than other grills to turn on /off. Please check your manual for the instructions on how to do this.
Another thing if this is propane it might be a spider in your grill that is clogging the unit for you.
go to: weber website they will be able to help you.

Gettting back to to rest the excess flow safety device turn all burner control knobs and tank valve OFF.

Disconnect the regulator from the tank. Turn burner control knobs to HIGH. Wait at least a 1 minute. Turn burner control knobs OFF.

Reconnect the regulator to the tank. Turn tank valve on slowly.

Light your grill like you normally do.

This tip is to rest unit: So it will reach higher temperetures.

We seem to be having the same problems as some of the others. Our sons bought this grill for my husband for Father's Day. I came assembled. There is a kink in the hose (the one that has to bend to...

Home Depot will not be able to help you with this. You should contact the manufacturer, Nexgrill, directly and see if they have longer gas lines as this seems to be common on this model of grill. There may have been enough complaints that Nexgrill has new lines available. This is also fairly common among all Chinese import grills that like to cut corners on costs.

Low flame - doesn't heat enough

Hi, Patty. The low burner flame on a natural gas grill an be caused by several things.

1. The gas line shutoff valve is not fully open.
2. The burners are clogged and need to be removed and properly cleaned
3. The venturi valve(s), which has spider screens may be clogged.

The things listed above are the top 3 reasons for the low burner flame problem on a Natural Gas Grill.

To help you accomplish the cleaning of the burners and the venturi valves, I have included a link to your Owners Manual, that you can download & print for future reference. It has detailed instructions and diagrams in the Maintenance section, that will show you how to accomplish this.

Hope this helps you to solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks and Happy Grilling!!

I just purchase this grill and was testing all burners .. all of them except the one going to the smoker worked fine .. tried to start it manually but it wont start this way either ... I am assuming that...

Yes, it is a Brinkman's problem. But, Home Depot will generally exchange it for a new one.

But, first, check the gas line running to the smoker burner. Does it appear to crimped or bent in any way? If this is the case, it won't allow gas to the burner. This may have occurred during shipping or it's a manufacturer's defect.

Also, try pushing in on the burner control knob when you manually try to light the burner. Since it's a low output burner for smoking, it may operate differently than the other main grill burners.

Hope this heads you in the right direction in resolving your burner problem.

L.p. tank is full, but flame is low and will not heat up

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the gas and then relighting. If the problem still exists, then you most likely need a new regulator valve. This is the silver disk about 3" around that is on the tank end of your gas line. This is something you can change yourself with a couple of crescent or open end wrenches. Just follow the gas line to where it hooks onto the grill and there should be a nut on the end fastening it to the gill. Loosen and remove the nut and hose. Take it with you to your local box store (home depot, Lowe's, etc...) or a grill specialty store and they should be able to hook you up with a replacement. To reinstall, just screw the nut back onto the grill fitting (make sure you tighten it up so the gas doesn't leak!) and they hook it back up to the gas. Turn it on and you grill should be working again!

I have a Char-Broil Grill that I bought at Home Depot. I tried to use it tonight, and I couldn't get a strong flame. I had put in a new propane tank, and this was the first time I used it. What would you...

The new tanks have a safety feature, if the connector is cracked and there is low pressure it will shut off the gas flow from the tank.
Check the connector at the tank, I had a cracked plastic one.

Clean or replace the main igniter. The backs corrode and need to be cleaned or replaced. Home Depot carry replacement parts.
