Mcdevito75 here, Even brakes with wear on them can seem fine, It could be the little sensor on the brake pad signifying lower brake pads or it could be some brake dust on the back of the disc pads, Have your local shop check them.

I feel a vibration when I step on stop brake pedal. Could this be my brake pads need changimg.

yes it could be worn brake pads, it may also mean that the discs themselves are warped. Less likely are worn bushes in steering. Hope this helps

2005 stratus squeaks in front end over bumps and car shakes when slowing from speeds of 35mph and over

The noise would usually be the strut or the control arm bushings. The vibration could also be the component making the noise, or warped brake rotors.

1998 Chrysler Sebring front end squeak

It could be a powersteering leak. Sometimes there is a shaft seal under the steering column inside that needs to be greased because f squeaks. The brake problem is from warped rotors, most likely the front since you feel it in the steering wheel.

There is a squeek in the front end, Just put new brakes in but it still squeeks. Could this be a CV joint or a Bearing? The noise is present with or without the brake s applied. There is no vibration and...

worn CV joints "click," but only upon turning.
worn bearings "grind," with a faint metal-on-metal sound.
So, squeaking in the front end is unlikely to be a CV joint or a bearing.
Squeak could be almost any front suspension component, but here's the reason to stop
guessing what it is and jack up the car, remove the two front tires and inspect the
front suspension: it could be a bolt/nut
that is loosening - and by catching it, and tightening it, you could save yourself the cost of
replacing the missing hardware. Also, be aware that an inspecting mechanic (if your state or
county requires a safety inspection (like Pennsylvania)) will inspect all components of your car's
front suspension as a routine component of your car's safety inspection.
Also:

1-----Inspect----- Coil Spring----- Broken or Weak Coil Springs.
2-----Inspect----- Sway Bar Bushing----- Worn, Damaged, or Faulty Stabilizer Bar Bushings.
3-----Inspect----- Steering Stabilizer Bracket----- Loose or Broken Steering Stabilizer Bracket.
4-----Inspect-----lower ball joints-----Loose bolt/rubber bushing to lower control arm.
5-----Inspect-----Upper Ball Joints-----Loose bolt/missing rubber bushing.
6-----Inspect-----Connecting Rods-----(these are the rods that connect the lower control arm to the
front of the frame) Check for loose nut (on the frame side), or loose bolts (on the control arm side).

Please help....I replaced the front brake pads on my 07 Saturn Aura because there was a squeaking sound. I took the old pads off and there was plenty of meat left and the rotors look very good. I didnt...

check the dust shield that is behind the rotor. It should be attached to the steering knuckle. if it is bent and touching the rotor it will squeak. I would jack the passenger side of the car up and remove the wheel. Once you have done that try to spin the rotor. Try to get it to squeak. It may also be dirt on your brake pads. If it came back after a week it is most likely dirt. Try a couple cans of Braklean while you have it apart.

Front end squeaking possible rotor rubbing something.

Have you checked the metal clips that olds the brake pads in the front galiper bracket. They usualy rust, break loose and come in contact whit the disc, creating a squeaking noise. Those should be replace since they are needed for the brakes to work properly

A metallic squeaking sound from the front driver side wheel well

On your brake pads there is a wear indicator tab. This is a metal tab that protrudes just past where the brake lining almost ends. It is there as an indicator that your brake pads are nearing the end of their life cycle and it is time to change them.
