How to forward port for a IP camera on a Huawei 655b modem ?

You can't port forward on a modem. On a router, yes. You just need to set the a static IP on the camera outside of your DHCP range. Then select a port above 1024 and set that port to point to the static IP. You should only need to port forward UDP. Optionally you would want to setup a dyndns account since your public IP from your ISP is dhcp and therefore doesn't always stay the same.

I can not play xbox because security is to high how do i chance it

you need to give your xbox a static ip address.
on your linksys router go to internet explorer. browse to http://192.168.1.1
default login is blank password is admin
go to Click the Security link near the top of the page.

Remove the checkmark from the Block Anonymous Internet Requests checkbox.

Click the Save Settings button near the bottom of the page.

Click the Applications & Gaming link near the top of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Port Range Forward.

We will list a series of lines here that will show you exactly how to forward the ports you need to forward. Xbox Live 360 requires you to forward the following ports: 53,80,88,1863,3074. Go ahead and enter the settings shown above into the Port Range Forward menu.

port forward the following ports up above to the ip address that you set your xbox 360 to.

Port Forwarding with BR-6104K

hope this helps
In vegas to forward a port with the zytell modem Sprint/Embarq our DSL provider you have to bridge your modem first and allow your router to pull your IP from your ISP. Then you can forward the port.
If you have DSL I would start by going to my ISP's website and look for instructions for setting up port forwarding or Bridging your modem.
Bridging your modem passes off traffic control to your router. on zytell modems you can also forward ports but bridging is much less technical
I have not run into CABLE providers cable modems having to do this
did you allow that port in your computers firewall?

Did you set up a static ip on the computer you want to forward your port for? sounds like it is required for you router

to test the port connection you can go to http://whatsmyip.org on the left pane click on port scanner and choose custom to scan the port number you are attempting to open. you do have to have the application that will use that port running to get a result if it is a game ALT+TAB should let you out of the game without shutting it down to open a web browser this tool can save you a lot of time testing the port it will give you a open status when you have succeeded.

Port Forwarding

Port forwarding is a method that allows you to run a server behind the router. Port Forwarding opens a specific port to a computer behind the router, allowing all Incoming Traffic on that port to be sent directly to that server. It should be used to setup servers behind the router, typically Port Triggering (Answer ID 344) is a better choice for non server applications (Such as instant messengers and game servers). Below is an example of how to setup Port Forwarding. For our example we will be setting an FTP Server and a Mail Server that uses SMTP and POP3. FTP uses ports: 20 and 21 SMTP uses port: 25 POP3 uses port: 110 Getting Started 1. You must set a static IP address on the server. If you're unsure of how to do this please go to Answer ID 534 for information on setting a static IP address in Windows. 2. Once the static IP address has been assigned please go to your desktop and double click on Internet Explorer (Located on the Start Menu in Windows XP) 3. Once "Internet Explorer" opens, please type http://192.168.1.1into the "Address Bar" and click GO 4. The "Enter Network Password" window will appear. Skip user name and type admin (admin is the default password) as the password, and click OK 5. This will bring up the routers "Setup" section. Look under "Domain Name" and check what version of the firmware you're using. 6. You will need to click on the Advanced tab to the very right. Once the "Advanced" tab comes up please go to the Forwarding tab. Firmware prior to 1.32 This will not work with firmware prior to 1.32
