C46 Squeeling Noise

All printers are greased on all moving parts apart from where the paper has to pass, as they don't want grease to get on your paper. That is why a lot of printers squeel, it's because some rollers are not lubricated. Particularly the final roller on the Epson C46. You can see this roller by looking through the paper exit tray (where the paper comes out). It is usually black in colour and has 9 bearing points which are just plastic against plastic and these rub together causing plastic dust to be created and this is what causes the squeeling.
Simply dab a tiny smear of grease or oil on the top of each bearing point (each is open at the top) and your noisy printer will become a quiet printer.
Please note that 8 of the bearing points are easily accessible, but the 9th being the far left one as you look in from the front and is about a half inch behind a grey plastic side wall. You can get to it with a small flat head screwdriver, so use one of these to apply the oil or grease.
Please be careful to only use a tiny smear of lubricant or the excess will drip or fall on your paper exit tray and ruin your paper.

Need a repair manual for a Pixma 9500 Pro (printer). It has this high-pitch squeel every time it pushes out a picture....Canon tech says "??????"

You can go to this site:…

Look under the tab "Drivers and Downloads", then a bit lower on the page in the section "Guides and Manuals" you have everything that should have come with the printer.

Printer no power

Is the printer connected? and switched on? (sorry for saying this but sometimes silly mistakes happen). Also is the switch on the printer turned ON? (maybe just the mains is ON). If it still does not work, u need to get your printer power assembly replaced.

Messy prints

not a solution but i have the same problem, found that buying bottles of fuser oil and adding it regularly to orange foam rollers found under fuser oil unit helps although 1st page printed will be covered in oil. also i have cut holes in top of fuser oil unit so can keep a high level of oil. i have 5 of these printers all with the same my search for a solution came across this, rings true to me.
