Ensure you have the software installed for your camera. This is available here: http://download.kodak.com/digital/software/easyShare/v8_3_0/install_easyshare.exe
Next, plug in the camera and open the "My Computer" icon/directory. The camera should now be listed there and you will be able to access it by double clicking, which will take you to the photos.
You don't really need the Kodak software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Kodak's, or Picasa.
you can download the newest version of the easyshare software from the kodak website. Click here and if you have a firewall please deactivate it for the installation.
There is no easy share version avail for your OS, the software is only avail. for winxp sp2 , vista or win 7.
You can get free download at www.kodak.com/go/edl
Hi, You might have received a CD along with your Kodak Purchase.. There should be a movie player that Kodak provides along with its camera, try installing that software and that should resolve the issue. Please let me know if that helps :)
yeah, go to my computer, find your camera.
find the files. highlight them. CTRL + V to copy
Paste them into your computer (make a folder etc)
Open em with windows media or something.
If they still dont work on your computer:
Download a video converter for the files.
