Question about RCA F27628 27" TV
I just found out the chirping sound is coming from a part with these numbers and letters on them:
I looked up part number 2567005 and it doesn't look anything like the part thats making all the noise.
The problem is i don't know what the part is called, where i can get it or how to even take it off.
model number f27628
when i plugged in the tv it makes a high pitched squeal and has no other sound or picture.
If your set is an RCA which I believe it is, you can contact RCA to find their part distributor for your area.
How did you determine that these parts are acutaly defective???
When these types of parts are defective, the cause must also be found. When replacing the parts, they will probably fail again unless the underlying cause is found. This will require the proper training, service manual, TV service experience, and the proper tools for troubleshooting.
As for changing the parts, you will require the proper tools and soldering equipment. After all the faults are found and the parts replaced, and the set is working, it is best to verify the power supply performance, the high voltage regulation, and the operating temperature of the various components effected in order to insure reliable after service operation.
