I have a dell 20" LCD monitor. But Presario S4000V doesn't fit for that monitor. Please let me know what can i do. Change "Video card"? thanks

Have you tried changing the Resolution settings to "Recommended"? If so, then you may have to purchase a newer Video Card. Look-up your motherboard 1st, then go by the Recommendations of the motherboards BRAND and Chipset of Video Cards. If you have nVidia Chipset, get GeForce or nVidia card, VIA, SiS work fine w/ these (nVidia Chipsets) Video Cards. But, if the motherboard is of Intel Manuf, you will want the ATI card. Get at least a 256MB Memory card(512MB is better) and read-up on the cards resolution to make sure it fits your screen size/dimensions. Good Luck. To find out your motherboard type/brand, dwnld. CPU-Z for free online. It will tell you about your CPU, Motherboard, Memory, and alot more.

I need driver help, yes i am a idiot

No your not.Go to microsoft web site or use the built in Windows Update on your computer. If you haven't downloaded the update tool it will ask you to install it.After it installs the update tool, run it.Pick the updates you need lnstall them some will require you to restart.Later check the automatic update feature to check for updates.Other updates will be from the manufacturer or your PC,check for their updates.Software from their sites. This is not hard.If I were you I would buy a general book on XP you can learn easy steps to keep your PC up to date and won't have to ask anyone (except FixYa.com) good luck

    Low speed

    Howzit
Firstly Regarding your hardwaresetup Very Old so you might want to upgrade that. You could probably upgrade your RAM and CPU without upgrading your Motherboard that will give you a massive boost in perfomance Let me know what socket set your motherboard has (it is written on the edge of the CPU socket slot) and I can guide you as to how far you can go with your CPU upgrade. I assume your RAM is SDRAM thus you can still get that up to about 512Mb(can be expensive considering the difficulty to obtain). I Assume you are using Win XP. There is no software that will make any noticeble difference in your perfomance. If your system is working slower than usual though you can download the lattest AVG antivirus from grisoft.com and use that because you might have viruses. And/Or you can Reformat and re-install Win Xp (save your important stuff to disc or flash-disc first) to clear out all the junk. Goodluck Let me know how you go. Thanks

    Regards
