My side by side starting leaking water at the bottom of the door and the freezer is not freezing everything solid. We cleared it out last night to be on the safe side and turned it off overnight. The vents underneath and in back are clear and the motor is running, but it still seems to be leaking water.

there is a drain in the middle of the defrost water collector and it is probably blocked - usually with ice. dry ot the tray and put very hot water in to melt the ice. you may have to do several times. do this until water flows away freely

Check under the base, the tube must be clear to the water tray, often there is a rubber flow restrictor, this either perishes or blockes, either way remove it, defrost over night and then turn back on, should then work ok within 24hrs. Regards Adbvisor

Keep an eye on the running time and temparture of the refrigerator. It will need time to return to normal cooling temps since the defrost and hot temps inside will take maybe a few more hours to reach normal. the damper motor on the refrigerator portion is not working properly
SOURCE: fridge and freezer at room temp. lights, fan work. vents clear.
you may have compressor problem check condenser fan
