Re: power shut down
Then let the repairman do the work. As long as he has a replacement motherboard and he can make your PC like new and work again. But think about the price if it is too high that you can buy a new one. Much better to have a new one right?

Most times if computer runs and then shuts down it is mother board over heating. It shuts down to prevent damage. Try to clean you mother board fan and also make sure no dust in the exhaust part on the bottom of the computer. You can clean it with air can for computers just make sure you hold it upright because if it is sideways or upside down it will put out freezing air and it can damage you computer. Hope this helps.
Hi, this could be power surge problem, all you need do first is to remove the battery of your laptop and plug the charger directly to AC power supply, now try to power on, see if it comes up, if it doesn't,it means your laptop need to be taken to a technician to help check if the mother board is still good.
HI, CHECK THE MEMORY CARD AND VIDEO CARD, FIRST UNPLUG THE PC REMOVE TWO SCREWS FROM THE RIGHT COVER SLIDE BACK THE COVER, YOU WILL SEE ON THE RIGHT UPPER SIDE OF THE MOTHER BOARD ONE OR TWO RECTANGLE LONG BOARD/CARD THAT IS MEMORY CARD, ON BOTH END IS A LOCKING TAB, BEFORE YOU TOUCH THE CARD ON LEFT HAND TOUCH THE MAIN FRAME OF THE PC THEN PUSH BACK THE LOCKING TABS TOWARD TO THE MAIN BOARD THE MEMORY BOARD/CARD WILL POP OUT. CLEAN THE CONTACTS OF THE MEMORY BOARD /CARD, REINSTALL IT BACK, IF THE PC DID NOT TURN ON .YOU NEED A POWER SUPPLY TO BE REPLACE. MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE SAME POWER SUPPLY YOU HAVE ON PC. YOU CAN SEE THERE IS A LABEL ON THE POWER SUPPLY WHAT IS THE WATTAGE. HOPING THAT THIS MIGHT HELP YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
