Question about Televison & Video
The following is the classic and best answer:
It is best to call the dealer and order an original remote. Or better yet, get in touch with the manufacture to order one.
In the case where the TV is a no name brand with no support, you are stuck to buy a universal remote. If the set is not popular enough, there will be no compatible universal remotes.
I would suggest that when you buy a new TV set, stay only with known name brands. Whatever you choose, check out or local service and replacement parts in case you would want to service the set or require support.
Just because the purchase price is low, this does not mean a TV is a great deal. There is a lot more to buying a TV than the price alone!
