The songs from CD may be in .CDA format, which the IPod doesn't recognize. Use Windows Media Player to Rip the tracks/convert to WMA or Mp3 format, and then transfer them to the iPod. you can also use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs after you're done ripping them.

These are the steps here:

  • 2 Insert your audio CD into your computer.
  • 3 Click on the CD name in the Source list. (This shows a list of songs on that CD.)
  • 4 Uncheck any songs you don't want to import to iTunes.
  • 5 Click "Import CD."
  • 6 iTunes you will now copy the selected songs from the CD to your iTunes Library.

I have a CD and i don`t know how to put htat music on the MP3 player! Pleas help me!!

Copy all the music from the cd to your computer, you can create a folder for that particular cd, then when you connect your MP3 Player to the computer you can just select the music you wanted to add in your playlist..

How do i transfer music from a cd to my ipod shuffle

First you need to convert the songs on the CD into mp3 music files then you copy these mp3 files to your ipod.
There are several freeware rip programs on the Internet that rip CD songs into mp3 files.
Do a Google search for these rip programs and install the program on your computer.
You can use Windows Media Player, it can rip music CDs and convert the music files into mp3 music files.

You need to download songs in mp3 format as any music you take from a cd will have copyright in the tracks and will not play on your ipod.
