I have the same problem out here.... my compaq cq40 encounter a black screen, same as you have encountered sir., but when i open the hardware and clean the processor., the unit is working again.. but few hours pass., i encountered same problem again... what should i do to fix this matter.? need help... please reach me on my yahoo mail... It sounds like a short or loose connection. If you're very savvy, you could fix it your left. However, frankly, if you were you would be coming to us. I'l suggest taking it is for services.
