Wacom cintiq 12wx calibration

I had a similar issue using the 12wx with a 15" MacbookPro Retina. Screen displayed the desktop way too much to the left. I found that the refresh rate of 59.8 hertz seemed to not be compatible despite it automatically being set. After changing this to 74.9 Hertz, the desktop is now properly centered on the Wacom screen and can be calibrated now. Not sure if this applies to Windows machines but perhaps something to keep in mind.

CARE FOR YOUR PC MONITORS AND LAPTOP SCREEN

The monitor is a very essential part of the computer which plays a major role in displaying every data/ actions done by the computer in a way we can read, understand and appreciate with the use of colors, writings and drawings

TIPS ON PCS MONITORS AND LAPTOPS SCREEN CARE

* Do not place a magnet or any appliance that have a magnet close to your pc monitor because it will cause some color distortions to that part of the monitors that effect may not be reversible

* If the pc monitor displays “ NO SIGNAL “ on the screen or those not display any thing when booting , check the connection CABLE and make sure it is properly connected or change it if it is rusted.

* Do not place your monitors or laptops on tables with wheels to prevent accident.

* Do not spill solvents or liquids on your pcs monitors or laptop screens.

* To prevent radiations from your monitor always use the screen shield.

* Handle you laptops with care ,do not drop it or sit on it or press the screen.

* The laptop screen uses liquid crystal display (LCD) technology which makes them very fragile , always handle it with care because it is very expensive to replace a fault part.

Dell monitor and acer one laptop

Yes, you can connect. BUT, after that right click on the desktop and select Properties->Settings. There you will find two monitor icons. The left one is your Acer display while the right one is your new Dell Display. Select the right one and configure it. You should have the same resolution and color as the main Acer display to use it optimally.

My Cintiq 21ux is not recognized as a 2nd monitor it just works as a huge wacom tablet with a black screen. It recognizes the pen as a mouse on my other monitor I get the same message No /sync /go to...

HI, I've had a similar problem. This solved it for me. Connect the cintiq first to a dvi to vga adapter, then connect that to apples vga to mini display port adapter.

worked for me so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

D800 laptop will not display on external monitor

Most laptops go into standby mode when the lid is closed. To stop this, (Windows XP) click Start, Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, Power Options, then click on the Advanced tab, select "Do nothing" in the drop-down for "When I close the lid of my portable computer"

Cursor not aligned with monitor

I'm not familiar with the utility software that comes with the bamboo, myself, but I am using the Intuos3, just a bigger version.
Have a look at Start>Programs>Wacom>Tablet Properties
In here you will find all sorts of seetings and customisable features.
Your looking for 'Tablet' then 'Mapping' and maybe set for 'Full Screen' - I'm guessing it's set on portion.

Let us know if this helps - if not, we'll delve deeper

Wacom Cintiq 12WX

I had the same problem with the "signal out of range" box in the middle of the screen. I went to Display on Control Panel and clicked the Settings tab. Click the monitor icon for the Wacom tablet in the window (if you are using more than one monitor) and set the screen resolutioin to 1280 by 800 pixels. The "signal out of range" box disappeared.

Monitor is connected to laptop jack and displays "no signal"

You have to activate the video out of the laptop.
Two ways to do this depending on how you want to use the monitor.
To use the monitor by itself laptops have shortcut keys.
Usually they involve using the Fn key and one of the F keys (Usually F3-F4-F5) KEy will either show two screens or say CRT-LCD
Pushing both keys at once will switch you to both screens, pushed again will just run the monito, Pushed again will return you to the laptop screen.

If you want to use the monitor as an extension of the monitor to be able to drag windos over to it then go to your display properties from the control panel and activate the monitor in the settings box. You'll have to click the monitor first then activate it as a extension and adjust the resolution here.

Viewsonic VA712b 17 " flat screen monitor

Realheadache, Unusual problem, it could be the resolution and refresh rate setting your PCs video card is currently set at. I don?t know if this will fix your problem but its worth a try: - Now go to your PC with the old monitor connected, right click anywhere on the desktop. - Left click Properties from the box that appears. - When the Display Properties box appears click on the Settings tab. - Make note of the screen resolution. - Change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768. - Click on the Advanced button in the lower right hand corner. - In the next box that appears click on the Monitor tab. - In the Monitor settings section of this page record the value of the Screen refresh rate. Then change it to 60 Hertz. - Close this and the Display Properties box by click on the OK button. - Now try connecting your new monitor. Let us know if this helps and as always please don?t forget to rate this posting.
