I need to find out what the master key is for my WII console.

The master key is whatever the owner of the console set it as. In order to reset the master key, you need to contact nintendo.

Alternatively, if you click forgot password twice it will give you a confirmation #. The website below is rumored to be able to take your confirmation # and give you the reset code.

I haven't tested the second method myself personally, but I do know calling nintendo WILL work.

Call nintendo, at 1 800 255 3700, They are the only ones with all the master key's for the wii. There are sooooo many masters for each serial that no one has come up with a database for one.
I asked nintendo for all of them and they said there were thousands of master pins.

You can obtain this number by calling Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700. They will ask a few questions, and you'll be able to unlock it.

Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter your confirmation number there, and select the Date that your Wii is showing.

(Note, this 5 digit Master key changes every day, and is also tied to the specific console, but if you go to the site I mentioned above, you can get the correct Master Key for your console, for whatever Today's date is. (Make sure your Wii is set to Today's date.))

Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter your 8 digit confirmation number there. When you do so, make sure that whatever today's date is, your Wii is set to that date. (And select Today's date from one of the 3 possible choices.)

(To get the confirmation number, go into Parental control settings, click I forgot on enter pin screen, and Click I forgot on answer secret question screen. This is where you come to where you enter the master password, and the confirmation number you need, to get this master password.)
