I intalled a sony car stereo and when the car is of the stereo is still on. how can i hook it up to when i turn of the car the stereo turns off?
When you wired the radio, did you wire it to the switched 12 v wire or the constant(hot) 12 v wire? because the switched wired makes the radio turn off when you turn the key off, the contant 12 volt is to keep your clock on, you might want to check a wiring diagram to see that you did it correctly, ive had that problem with radios ive installed

If you used a wire harness to connect with the factory setup, try running the power wire to your fusebox. Find a fuse that is only live when the car is running and insert the wire with the fuse.
