NANO WENT THROUGH WASH

EVERYTHING WORKS NOW BUT THE SCREEN DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.
ANY SOLUTIONS
APPLE CARE IS NOT HELP AT ALL

Most likely the screen needs to be replaced.

Ipod Nano 4th gen LCD backlight not working


Its definitely the logic board (motherboard) that has gone bad. Its not the actual screen nor LCD. Its the logic board. You could replace the screen with a new onje and the backlight still will not work. Nano's are known for this but of course apple won't admit to putting out a piece of **** logic board in all of the nano's or they would have to recall 10 million of them! So, they just play stupid and say your nano is out of warranty but we'll give you a 10% trade in discount. What a joke! I know this because i used to work for Apple ;-) They screw customers left and right to keep their profits up.

Nano screen back light comes on but no graphics


try visit or phoning apple care and you may have to take it into a shop as it may have been damamged in a way, but first you could back up your data and try master reset

My ipod nano 8GB,just went blank even resetting it will not help,i thought it was a battery problem but it is not even recognised by the computer.any solution to this?!


try charging it ...if that doesnt work try getting it into disk mode-here's how..slide hold button a couple of times to off and on and then when hold is off press and hold menu and center buttons till you a see a silver apple on the screen then connect to PC and it should be detected...restore with itunes....that shud work....

The screen won't light up on my ipod, but


Unfortunately there is no solution since the water has messed up the LCD. Have you tried going to settings and check if the back light option is on?

IPOD NANO


Your backlight has shorted out or is failing. There is no way to do anything, except a service. You will have to take it to an authorised service center..

My Ipod Nano went throught the wash?

I am sorry to hear about your Ipod Nano. Unfortunately Best Buy's™ Product Replacement Plan (PRP) does not cover liquid or physical damage. As such, the PRP would not cover the damage sustained by a MP3 player that was run through the wash.
