Question about Computers & Internet
In December 2007 I purchased a Gateway ML6714 Laptop Computer from your Store. My wireless is suddenly not working! The icon next to the Clock has a Yellow triangle instead of a globe. I have followed all the advice in the windows help and tried to diagnose the connection. Nothing is working! Any Suggestions??
The wireless adapter on your comp requires reinstallation of drivers.
For this if using windows xp click start>run>type in devmgmt.msc press enter> it will open up device manager in that window double click network adapters it will collapse the list and you'll find your wireless adapter listed in there right click on it and click uninstall and then restart your comp. It will reinstall the adapter drivers but you have to be careful while doing this because any wrong step can uninstall the device completely.
