Cycle isn't using Jet Dry

I filled my jet dry dispenser when I moved in, like a year ago. It is still full and I have horrible water spots on my dishes. Why isn't my dishwahser dispensing the Jet Dry?
I have HotPoint model HDA2100N10BB Serial No. HR786618B
The cap to the Jet Dry dispenser has an open arrow going to the right and that is it. No instructions on the door or in the manual on when it's supposed to dispense, how it's supposed to dispense etc.

Hi, the dishes on the top rack of our Whirlpool Quietmaster III do not dry completely, but the bottom dishes are fine. We have to re-wash the upper rack dishes; they have spots on them. Ron.

Sounds like your not using a rinse aid. Fill the dispenser with jet dry. Not only it keeps dishes spot free but it help to dry them as well.

Dishes are not drying leaving them wet and spotted.. This is a new problem. It was fine before. We cleaned it out carefully and are using a new soap container.

Pam,
Haas someone turned off the heat option on the controls? Is your jet dry dispenser empty and in needing of re-filling? One thing that my wife does as well is to crack open the door after the cycle is done to let the steam escape and then they dry without all the excess water in there. Hope this helps!

Where is the soap dispenser and jet dry dispenser on a Danby countertop dishwasher (with window)

I've got one of these countertop washers at home. The twist off dispenser you're talking about is for the jet dry (at least on mine) and there should be an area on the right side of the door for your soap. Hope this helps!

Dishwasher does not dispense jet dry. Is full all the time

If the jet dry dispenser is full, it will last you about 3 or 4 months depending on how often you use the dishwasher

How to fill with liquid to keep glasses from spotting

open door look on the inside if you have a knob beside your detergent door un screw it like a soda cap counter clockwise. Pull out fill hole with liquid jet dry. screw cap back into place clockwise. just snug, not too tight. your cup should be full and dishes spotless. However not all have the jet dry dispensers so you may have to buy the dry variety that hangs in plastic basket on your rack.

If dishes still have spots you may have a water problem that may require a sevice technicians assistance for you.

We have a bosch she4am dishwasher and just recently the unit doesn't rinse all the soap out of the glasses of the top rack and also a film is being left on the dishes. i have checked the top spinner and it...

check the top of the cabinet after the unit has started to wash the water droplets is the key. if you see water droplets on the very top all over then the unit circulation pump is working. If that checks out then check the jet dry compartment. here is a trick.
open the compartment door, fill compartment until it cant hold anymore liquid, close compartment door, lower and raise the door 3 times, open compartment door check to see if you fill with more jet dry, repeat this process untill it cant take anymore.
what this does is removes the air out of the compartment. this will last for about 10-12 washes. last thing is to turn your faucet water on until it is the hottest then start your machine. use cascade soap and no tablets. when you use tabletrs with jet dry the machine over suds, the rinse aid compartment or dispenser is vidal to drying, cleaning spots and film. hope this helps.

Bosch dishwasher leaves water at the end of its cycle cleaned filter and the impeller seams free and not blocked

check for over sudzing. dont use a cascade with jet dry in it. use regular dishwashing liquid and fill jet dry compartment. you can even jet dry level by turning the knob in dispenser.
