Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
On the Xbox 360, you'll have two choices of service level: Xbox Live Silver and Xbox Live Gold. Xbox Live Silver will offer limited Xbox Live functionality at no cost, while the Gold package will be a fully functional pay service.
The Xbox Live Silver service means you can connect your Xbox 360 console to a broadband Internet connection and get functionality right out of the box without having to pay any amount of money.
With Xbox Live Silver you can:

Yes and no.
A silver membership is free but you can't play online against anyone (just download some updates and stuff)
With a gold membership you can ply your buddies online. And it costs 50 bucks for a year.
But.... I used the info in this guide to get a 13 month subscription and I didn't pay a thing. Check it out.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hey Lil Man23,
There are two things that you'll need in order to connect your Xbox 360 to the internet wirelessly: a wireless router and a wireless network adaptor. While both of these may often be obtained through an internet service provider (ISP), you can generally purchase both hardware devices from a local retail store.
In order to connect to the internet, your Xbox 360 will need to be set up in what is referred to as "infrastructure mode." This essentially means that your Xbox 360 will be set to connect to a single access point (the wireless router) in order to access the internet. If you're not quite sure how to do this, you should be able to find step-by-step instructions on how to do so in your owner's manual, or by using Microsoft's Xbox 360 Connectivity Wizard:
If you're still not quite sure how to proceed, I would strongly suggest contacting your ISP for further assistance. Many ISP's are able to provide home networking services for their subscribers, but remember that there may be a charge for any in-home services provided by your ISP or any third-party company.
Hope this helps you out.
Go Ahead. Use Us.

SOURCE: is playing online with ps3 free
Yes, I have at least one of each. You can play online with the PS3 for free. if you have e mail you can also get a weekly newsletter that shows what dounloads you can get, and which bonus packages you can get for free, and updates. you will get a list of stuff that is not free as well. The 360 charges you monthly and will do so until you shut them off with a phone call unless you get the little pay as you go codes at a game store.
