Why Dishwasher water not coming in ?

1. check the water shut off valve.
2. Make sure you are closing the door properly it should close completely to get start
3. If you are sure that above to things are fine but still you have problem then check the dishwasher water inlet valve.
4. If you have flexible water pipe connected with your dishwasher then check it if its the one with flood safety at one end of pipe. If you have that kind of flex pipe then change it with regular flex pipe the one without safety.

What causes the cold water in a washer machine to come out real slow?

Hi

This may be either due to blocked inlet hose or low water pressure. When water is filling your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. As the float reaches a certain threshold level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Sometimes it can happen due to float valve and on other occasions due to float switch. Inspect the water hose coming to the dishwasher for any blockages. If the inlet valve seems to be fine then make sure that the filter screen is clear & clean. If these are fine then it's due to Water Inlet Valve. Use a multimeter and check for the continuity on inlet valve. If you don't get any value on the multimeter then you'll need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. Hope this helps... Please post back with model# if you need more information.

Hello My Dishwasher, whne finished a cycle...the dishes are coming out with a white crusty film all over them and looking worse than they do before they go in and I don't know why this is happening?

There are many probable causes of failure .

A dishwasher's water inlet valve is its most common part to fail. When your dishes are not being fully cleaned, quite often a faulty water inlet valve is to blame. Test your dishwasher's water inlet valve, and if it is no longer functioning as it should, you will have to replace it.

Water temperature is a key element in achieving clean dishes. A dishwasher's heating element is not designed to heat the water that enters it. Rather, the heating element is designed to maintain the heat of the water that enters the dishwasher. Its a good idea to run the hot water in your sink for a couple of minutes before you run the dishwasher. Just to make sure the water is nice and hot before it enters the dishwasher. If the water is unable to stay hot, it can adversely affect your dishwasher's cleaning ability.

There is a filter in your dishwasher. Its function is to keep large particles of food and foreign objects away from the pump. Many of the newly-manufactured dishwashers have self-cleaning filters, and routine cleaning isn't a concern. However, some other dishw ashers need to have the filter removed and cleaned regularly. If the filter or grate is clogged or blocked with debris, it may interfere with the normal functioning of your dishwasher

My maytag dishwasher does not have enough pressure to drive the water through the wands onto the dishes. I have cleaned the screen underneath the bottom wand but this has not increased the pressure enough....

I would check to see if you have enough water in the dishwasher. Let the dishwasher fill with water and set the spray arm in a positoin you will remember where it is.
Take a large pot of hot water and add it to the dishwasher and close the door. Start the dishwasher and observe to see if the spray arm moves.
If it moves you may have to change the water inlet valve. It may be restristing the water flow into the dishwasher.
The water inlet valve is located behind the lower kick panel.(4) screws, Remove the panel and see where the water pipe hooks into the water inlet valve. Remove two wires and two screws. Shut water off and remove the water line going into the valve and the small rubber hose coming out of the valve.
Replace valve and reinstall kick panel.
Hope this helps.

My Maytag Performa Dishwasher is leaking when doing the dishes...

Sounds like your fill valve is stuck in the filling position...see if you you have water standing in it a couple hrs after a drain cycle. if it does then the valve needs to be replaced or you can take it apart carefully,(there is a sping that might fly out and get lost) and clean it. Mine had some small trash in it from the city water line.. The left side has an over flow hole is where your water is coming from..

No water coming into dishwasher

dishwasher will not fill with water: This is often the fill valve. You can test the fill valve coil for continuity with a ohm meter, no needle movement = bad fill valve. You can also test the fill valve for 120 volts at the fill valve with a volt meter, power there and no fill = bad fill valve. No 120 volts there, you will have to trace power back to find the trouble maker. Test things like the float and float switch, wires and timer. Fill valves are very bad for working once or twice and then quitting, if your dishwasher fills the first and second fill cycles and then no more water through the rest of the cycle, replace the fill valve. You will need to remove the access panels to get at the fill valve. Dishwasher fill valves also have a screen built into the valve entrance, this can also get all clogged up and need to be cleaned. ----- There's no water entering the machine If there's no water entering your dishwasher, check these: Water-inlet valve Float switch Water-inlet valve The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it. Float switch The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

When i turn it on to wash dishes no water comes out, but you here everything else working.

If there's no water entering your dishwasher, check these:

Water-inlet valve
Float switch
Water-inlet valve The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine.

If there is no water whatsoever entering the machine then the inlet valve is most likely faulty.
However, that's very uncommon. More common is a problem with the flowmeter or the pressure switch.
Remove the filter and mesh filter, carefully clean out the black grid and don't puncture the membrane, pour very hot water into the sump to disolve any grease.
Reset the machine and try it again. If still not working take off the left hand panel, locate the flowmeter at the bottom front of the water matrix, unplug it and plug it back on. Reset and try again

Ge top load washer WSERE526FOWW

Dishwashers usually run on 115-volt or 120-volt power. The water they use comes directly from the water heater, and wastewater is drained into the sink's drainpipe. The dishwasher is not connected to the cold-water supply. For best dishwashing results, set the temperature control of the water heater to no less than 140 degrees Farenheit. Water cooler than this usually doesn't get the dishes clean, unless your dishwasher is a newer model that preheats incoming water. The water shutoff for the dishwasher is typically located below the adjoining sink.
