Need Enterasys RoamAbout RBTRC-MZ User's Guide/Solution Guide and Detailed Instructions, Info on this Product

I am getting several Enterasys RoamAbout RBTRC-MZ cards and need to find out exactly what they are and how to use them properly so I am looking for the Enterasys RoamAbout RBTRC-MZ User's Guide/Solution Guide and any other information, instructions, etc. that would explain to a novice (to both the product and networking) what these are and how to use them properly.

The only article I have found that at least gives you an idea on what these really are is http://mcpmag.com/features/article.asp?editorialsid=304, and it does not show how to use them and if they will work in a home office environment, with another location about a mile away.

Thanks so much. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello:

I have received the link to Enterasys R2 from several experts but I have the Enterasys RoamAbout RBTRC-MZ and the article I saw (listed above) made it sound like this RBTRC-MZ was an Access Point. Someone who also purchased these told me today that it is not, that it is only used with the R2 Access point; is this correct (I have not seen a link for the RBTRC-MZ, just the R2)?

Again, all this is new to me and and right now it seems like I am getting something I will not be able to use at all (I do not have any R2s).

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The HP M111 working perfect until It looses power. After the power loose the unit falls off the network and needs to be reset to fatory defaults

if you are using a ppoe connection then save your isp account user name/password in the modem weather it be a cable modem or a dsl modem and then setup and configure your access point device and SAVE your settings in the device.
if you using a dhcp connection from isp modems then just connect your access point device and setup amd configure your settings and SAVE them as well.
the only thing that i can think of is that you are not saving your settings and configurations. then when you you loose power the device reverts back to the default settings. also note that if there is some kind of "auto-configuartion" in the access point you may want to change that to manual configuration and create a new user name/password for your access point as well. please you MUST be hardwired connection when setting up the access point for the first time. please refer to the user guide for your access point for more detailed help on settings and configurations and how to save them in your device.

I am using lynksys wireless-g access point WAP54G

First you must be sure you are connected to the router (by wireless or cable). Than you have to open a browser and access 192.168.1.245. You will be asked for an username and passowrd. Username case leave it blank and the password is admin
To set a password for wireless you need to go to wireless configuration. For more detailed info look in the users guide at chapter 3. You can find user guide here : http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/WAP54G

How to set up the wl-330ge as a repeater?

What the instructions don't clearly explain is you must plug the WL-330gE into a device that has both a wireless connection and an active ethernet port. If the ethrnet port is active you should see two small lights on either side of the ethernet port on your device after the .WL-330gE is plugged in Once that's done you can run the detection software and it should find the device. Select configure and a browser will open and you'll be taken to the ASUS configuration website. Log in using the user name and password in the startup guide. The configuration page my open up in Chinese language, if so select the drop down at the upper right corner of the screen and pick the first item in the list which is English. Select the tab which matches the configuration you need and follow the instructions. Hope this helps.

This is the page where Lenovo lists the various user manuals -- there are several but no specific "User Manual".
A "Get Adobe Reader" (free) button appears on the pages with the manual downloads (one click from the link below) download and install it if you need it.
