Can I use a Wireless mouse without the USB thing?

No Lena, I am afraid you can't and if you can't find that little USB bit, the mouse is just a paperweight. The mouse sends signals to that little USB thing which is a receiver for the signals from the mouse.

The mouse often has a little storage indent in the bottom of the mouse to store the receiver, so could someone have removed it from the computer stored it for you? On my Logitech mouse, the indent is under the battery cover. It sounds like you have two computers, so check both for the receiver.

Computer does not recognize the keyboard,, have windows xp 2002 sp3, and bot the USB keyboard/mouse from crayola. another keyboard that is USB works just fine, so not the port???

Sakar International makes this product.

According to them, your operating system isn't supported, although for the life of me I cannot see why.

Here are the supported operating systems:
System Requirements: --Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP or Vista --Mac OS X (10.1 or higher) --One available USB port

Here is the website for the mouse:

And here is the website for the keyboard:

I'm sorry I couldnt help more. This should be resolveable, but the company has no information on how to resolve it.

I just got a windows Vista and have a mouse for windows 98 and 98se It is a h.p. mouse. Is there some way I can use it?? when I try to install disk it won't let me go any farther. Please help, and tell me...

hmm, well, most mice are easily recognized by Vista with no trouble or software to install. You can usually do this by having it recognize hardware that's plugged in, in control panel. My best suggestion is that if the hardware recognition in control panel doesn't fix it, you can get an inexpensive USB optical mouse for around or less than 20 dollars at any decent store. Some older mice just cannot work with newer OSs, while basic mice never stop working. Go fig.

I need a mouse driver for windows 98se using an Ativa 611405 mouse. Thanks

Ativa 611405 does not require any drivers
its plug and play if you are using USB to connect it

just connect the mouse and it will work
if USB doesnt work try using a USB to P/S2 converter on it

Mikomi wireless keyboard

There is no bundled software that comes with the Mekomi RF keybord and the only support is for winddows 98SE. I have looked at other websites and have found sujssions that software drives from the Logitech wesite might work with these keybords hope you have some luck nurdy2453

Mouse prob.

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Dell mouse: right click shows and scroll curser not spellcheck

Try a different mouse on it to see if it does the same thing. Your mouse might be failing on you. If it does the same thing with a different mouse then it might be the software problem or perhaps drivers. You can also try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse. If your running windows 2000 or later version of windows you can uninstall in device manager and restart the computer with the mouse still connected and windows should reinstall drivers for the mouse automatically. Goodluck!
