This is a common problem that is not explained in the manual. Turn the left silver knob on the top deck of the machine past the steam icon to the water drop icon. Let about eight ounces of water out into a cup and the circuit is primed.

I spilled water on the stove top last night/it seeped into the electrical. I heard a buzzing noise and the clock was flashing a little. I unplugged it immediately.

As a safety issue, TURN OFF THE POWER, replace the board--the water probably shorted out some relays mounted on the oven control board. Water doesn't just short out components. In the presence of electricity, it can quickly cause corrosion due to arcing and the breakdown of the water into its chemical components. Not only that, but many micro-processor controlled ovens have a separate relay power board(mounted at the rear of the oven under the back cover) which is a circuit board that has many relays soldered to it--they can control everything from the bake/broil functions, to the oven and cooktop lockout functions--and if damaged, can cause some or all of the surface burners to not function. I don't know what brand/model you have but to be safe, call for service to have a qualified tech check out the board(s).

Oven not working on gas bosch stove, has never worked since purchased, oven doesn;t come on at all, lights just blink

I would go back to where you purchased it and see if they can repair it under warranty. If you have had it to long then oops you may have to pay for it. I doubt there is anything missing form the circuit board.

On light indicatorwont light, oven not working

There is a good chance that the timer needs to be set for 'manual' cooking. Your instruction booklet should tell you how to do this.

Saeco coffee vending machine 7P is reading OUT OF SERVICE 06, it is not blocked have checked everything.

7p wouldn't be displaying 06. My guess is you have a Saeco SG200. 06 means the cup dispensers jammed. Remove all cups and switch the machine on. if the cup dispenser make a clicking sound the the cames in the cup dispenser is jammed and needs to be freeed. if it works theres no clicking noise, switch machine off, and reload the cups in the tube that arn't directly over the cam hole. if this is an ongoing issue, tell me what colour are the cams (theres 5 and there black or white) and describe the cup that your using.

Yesterday i was running the oven with 3 burners running. All of a sudden there was a large bang and a flash of light. It also knocked the power out to the house, thank goodness it was just a breaker. I...

If it was a large bang and flash of light as you described this would have been a short circuit, and this is why the circuit breaker tripped. A fuse wouldn't make as much noise and if the fuse blew the breaker wouldn't normally trip. Looking at the picture of the range it looks like the heating elements are under the glass top. This will have to be dismantled and if the short circuit isn't obvious, the elements will have to be tested to find the faulty one.

I am not absolutely sure but experienced a similar fault with a hot water heater that may be related. The problem we had was with the polarity of the connection. The water heater was not hard wired and fitted with a temporary electrical cord. The wall plug was wired incorrectly so the power was on the neutral side and the power side was connected to ground.

Check the polarity of your circuit and ensure the white is connected to neutral and the black is connected to power. Also many of these devices require the green wire ground connection so if there is a "three prong to two prong adapter" it needs to be grounded correctly, inserted correctly or removed.

Hi! My old school Admiral oven/stove top is having issues. I rent, so I don't want to bother my landlord until I have to - or know what to tell him. Basically, it won't heat anything substantially. The...

You need to contact the landlord and I will tell you why: The stove should not have issues above and below simultaneously. I comment you for not wanting to bother the landlord but I feel like you have an electrical problem. The oven not there and the top not there? You have a bad circuit breaker on that puppy. Takes a 50 amp 2 pole 240 volt breaker for an electric stove and only qualified schocktricians should fool with them. My opinion.

No power or display lights, clock, nothing to the oven. We did a quick clean last night. The oven door is locked. The range has a spark to light burners. I reset the circuit.

First check the breakers at the distribution panel. Turn them off and back on. If this doesn't work you'll need to check the plug for power. If this still doesn't get it you may have a tripped limit it is usually in the back and check the manual for any available customer resets.
