If it is not syncing, it is possible that the computer is not recognizing the player: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Can someone pls tell me how to down load music on my mw140 mp3 player? Can I down load the music from my computer? This is my first time downing music.I will be so grateful for any kind of help.

Hi brown clark...
Downloading Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

Loading music

There is an alternative to loading song onto your friends mp3 players like all players.

Many people find it difficult to sync there mp3 with windows media player, because it can be very annoying.

To get around this, First: Connect the mp3 player to your computer.

Next, got to my computer.

You should see the mp3 player in there as a removable disk,

Right-Click on the removable disk and select "explore"

This will open a window showing all unhidden files/folders in the mp3 player.

Leave the window open,... next find the music you want to add to the mp3 on your computer.

Windows Media Player music can be found in the my music folder.

Once you have discovered the music you want to add to the mp3 player, go to the mp3 player folder (removable disk).... there should be a folder in there labeled music.

From here on it's just a simple drag and drop process.

Select all the music file you want on the mp3 player from the my music folder, and move them inside the music folder found on your mp3.

Hope this help <(^_^)> thanxx

After down loading music player went off won,t recharge

This player is effectively destroyed by using it on a computer that runs either Windows Media Player 11 or Vista. You can try doing a repair in Philips Device Manager, but this is very nearly an obsolete mp3 player.
