Acer recovery download

Did you lose just the files that you saved on the hard drive? Or did you lose all of the programs and files? Either way you needed to make your own recovery disk before you lost the information. It is too late to get a recovery disk made after you lost everything. You will have to purchase the programs (software such as windows 7) again. If you just lost just what you saved in the files (pictures, resume, etc.), then it is gone forever.

My hp pavillion g6 wont boot

By pressing f11 repeatedly during start up will pop up dialog box to access system recovery image. But if the system image has been deleted accidentally, check if you have a friend with the same model copy the recovery file from his computer. You will locate the recovery file when you open my computer. Then connect the usb device and try restart your system using 11. If it fails enter setup and change the first boot device to usb and still press f11 for the system to see the system image file. Otherwise look for original os cd for your computer. Nnamdi

How do you reset this laptop back to factory settings

The HP Recovery Manager application, installed on the hard drive of HP Notebook PCs, can be used to recover the computer to its original operating condition, and can create a set of personalized Recovery discs. In the event of a system failure, you can use either the Recovery Manager or the Recovery discs to re-install your notebook's original operating system and software. Figure 1: Recovery Manager Optionsc02645341.png Depending on when the model was released, the Recovery Manager installed on your notebook was developed by either SoftThink or CyberLink, or by an HP team. The screens may be slightly different, and there may be up to three very different types of recovery options available for your model.

Compaq nx6310 PC Notebook: i need to unlock my hp nx6310 cmos password...

Compare to many password recovery solutions. Following solution is the best and the easiest one i found.
1.Download Windows Password Recovery 6.0 from Password Recovery Official site : recover lost password
2.Decompress the Windows Password Recovery 6.0 and note that there is an .ISO image file . Burn the image file onto an blank CD with the burner freely supported by Windows Password Recovery 6.0 3.Insert the newly created CD into the locked computer and re-boot it from the CD drive. 4.After launched the CD, a window pop up with all your account names(if you have several accounts); select one of the accounts that you have forgotten its password to reset it. Just one press, you have removed the password.

Recovery cd here is what show up when i turn on

You did not mention what is the manufacturer and what is the operating system you have but you can try following:

hal.dll is the file which protects your hardware devices to access the memory directly. HAL ( Harware Abstraction Layer).

To repair hal.dll we would require the recovery discs else you can try recovery console in your computer

1. press the power button and keep tapping on F 11 for HP computer and ctrl+F11 for Dell computer
2. check if you get a Recovery Manager
3. you can perform a recovery from here

I made a mistake to recovery on D drive..

I assume you had a D: partition on the same hard drive before reloading the system. If that was the case you will most certainly have lost files from that partition. (hence all the warnings and "are you sure" prompts when you used the recovery CD) But you might get lucky . try this tool http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/
its free and might be able to locate and restore some files.

Many things going wrong

It seems some thing is going wrong in your operating system. It might be caused by a virus or misshandling of your OS.
Anyways to overcome this problem HP gives you to make restore factory setting for your lap.
WARNING: MAKE BACKUP OF ALL YOUR IMPORTANT FILES AND DATA, BECAUSE ALL YOUR PROGRAM AND DATA WILL BE LOST WHICH YOU HAVE INSTALLED AFTER FIRST RUN OF THE LAP. SO BEAWARE BEFORE MAKING SYSTEM RECOVERY.

Restore the PC to original condition with the HP Recovery Manager Follow the steps below to use HP Recovery Manager to return your notebook to its baseline factory condition, then allow the PC to run all the setup programs.
  1. Press the power button to turn on the PC, and press F11 on the keyboard immediately while the computer is starting up. The HP Backup and Recovery Manager window will appear.
  2. Click Advanced options , select the System recovery option, and then click Next .
  3. If the Recovery Manager can access the hard drive it displays a prompt to backup up user files before continuing the recovery. You may either backup your files, or skip the backup and recover the operating system.
  4. If the Recovery Manager cannot access the hard drive to fix the system errors, use the set of Recovery disks that you created to recover the hard drive to its original condition.
After the hard drive is returned to its original condition, restart the PC and allow the PC to run all the setup programs For more details you can surf the HP website Thanks Iqbal
