SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can't open my e-mail at comcast.net

Try this: sign on to the home page at http://www.comcast.net

Then in the browser address bar enter mailcenter.comcast.net then click on Go or hit Enter. If the web mail page opens this almost certainly indicates a pop up blocker was preventing the web mail page from opening when you clicked on the email button.

You should be able to configure the pop up blocker to allow all comcast.net web pages.

- At Menu Bar go to Tools
- At first look if in the first box is "Show my home page" (If it is not , select it )
- Now in the next box write : Google.com

I open a new tab and imesh search engine keeps on coming up, Ive tried to uninstall it but it is still my new tab thing its really annoying.

Is this also set as your home page?

1. Click the Start button>select Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program
2. Scroll down until you locate i Mesh Media Bar' in the list and click it once to highlight it.
3. Click Uninstall.

Once it has uninstalled, you need to switch back your IE homepage.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click Tools--> Internet Options
3. Select the 'General' tab.
4. Set the homepage to http://www.google.com or similar.
5. Under the 'Search' heading, click the 'Settings' button
6. Click something else in the box such as Bing Search' and click the 'Set Default' button.
7. Select 'i Mesh' and click 'Remove'
8. Click 'OK' to close the window and OK again to close the Options window.

Should you have Firefox installed:
Open Firefox
Select Tools--> Options
Click the General tab.
Enter the web address you want as your home page.
Click 'OK'

You now have the i Mesh Bar removed.

How do I browse the web?

You need to have a connection to the internet. Then you open web 'browser' programs like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Mozilla firefox. The browser will open to what is called a "home page" that is usually preset by the browser software. You then can either search for infomation using the search bar, usually located on the top portion of the home page, or you can put a web address in the address bar on the very top of the browser, to go to the website page you want.

This is very general information. There is much more that can be discussed on the topic of browsing the web. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

My address bar has disappeared. How can I restore it?

Address bar dissapeared? Going to VIEW, TOOLBARS, place a check by ADRESS BAR then you should see in the top, right corner: Adress. right click it and un check LOCK THE TOOL BARS. Then you should see a thin line across the rest of the standard buttons, place the curser on it and move it up and down untill you see a two sided erow then drag the thin line untill you see the address bar.

Hope this works

Toolbars

Go to View - Toolbars and check to see which ones are ticked. Select the Address Bar and Standard bar and click on these to select them.

This should fix your problem.

If this is the same answer that you received from someone else, then try re Installing the Operating System - but when it asks you if you want to format the disk etc tell it to Repair. This is a pretty drastic solution! The View Toolbars method should work.

If it does not, reply to this request rather than starting a new thread with no information about what was suggested before.

Good luck.
