My phone memory was 17MB suddenly it came to 7MB, what should i do???

sunilrhll, you can verify below options:
1) have you recorded a lot of videos and shot many hi-res pictures? if yes chances are you may have used up a lot of the internal memory (270MB).
2) if your phone is new and this is the immediate issue, you may want to visit the store where you bought the phone, the may have installed some stuffs you did not know

You might want to have a master reset on your phone to get back its full memory> However, I believe you already know that it will erase everything on your phone and put it back on its default status.

This is an easy fix, all you need to do is to make sure the files you are sending to the phone is not larger that 7mb, because the phones memory size is just 7mb. Go to multimedia, select the sound, picture or video, select option and select move, then you move the files to the memory card
Files do not get transferred to the memory card directly, the phone first receives it, then you move the files to the memory card. If you already have a file(sound,picture or videos) on the phone memory, it will keep saying your memory is full.
It happened to me also on my lg-ke850, i had 512mb on my phone, but each time i try to receive a file, it keeps saying the memory is full, so i tried that and it worked for me, so i trust it will work for you too.

u may be downloading it in ur phone memory. change download settings

nokia 6300 phone memory capacity is 7mb, if ur images, tones, vedios n recived files r there in phone memory plz move to memory card. 1 more thing if u have applied high quality theme then change it simple 1. it may solve ur problem.

Hi You have to move the Videos off the sd card onto the phone before you will be able to see them on the PC Suite Software. The Software only sees stuff that is on the phone itself, then you can download it to the PC or Upload to the Phone Hope this helps Regards
