MP3 players can only play music files and audio books in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

Two questions: How do I create folders on the Eclipse mp3 player? How do I download audio books to the Eclipse and keep the books in folders?

Connect your MP3 player with the supplied USB cable to your computer. The computer will detect this as an external storage device, then click on this device and go to the music folder. You can create a new folder/s inside the music folder and you can copy your mp3 audio files into the folders you have created.
You most likely need to convert your audio book files into mp3 files.

How do I download a book or music to my sansa . I just received it as a gift and do not understand how to work it. I want to download a couple of audio books and some songs

Use the supplied cable to connect the Fuze to your computer. It should show up as a removable drive, one of whose folders is called "MUSIC". Drag&drop your audiobook and music into that folder. For future ease, I suggest keeping the file structure, copying the folders intact.

Audio book not going into audiobook section on sansa clip

Hi,
There are two ways to delete files on your Sansa player.  You can delete them from the player directly or using a PC.

METHOD 1 - Delete files directly on the device
For View, Fuze, Clip, e200v2, and c200v2 only
1. In playback mode, press the Submenu button.
2. Select Delete

METHOD 2 - Delete files using a PC
For all other Sansa players:
1. Connect your device to the PC.
2. Select Open device to view files using Windows Explorer on initial connection.
3. Locate the folder where your files are stored.
4. Click to select the files you want deleted and delete the files

Sansa Clip with invisible podcast files

The podcats that aren't recognized may be in AAC instead of Mp3 format. Use Media Monkey or some other free software to convert them to mp3 format.

Mp3 sansa e260

You will need to run those songs through an mp3 converter to get rid of the protected status, or purchase a premium subscription to your music service (the basic subscription will not be enough).

And, no this player is definitely NOT compatible with iTunes. The Sansa e200 enables users to play MP3, WAV, WMA, secure WMA, and audible files. iTunes are AAC format - not recognized by this player.

Mp4 player nano has stopped working

You are copying an unknown format to your mp4. Some mp3/mp4 handles a different type of audio and video files. Read your manual and check what particular audio and video files it can read. Look for an audio and video converter on the net. install it on your pc, convert your audio/video files to a format your mp4 can read and copy it to your mp4. I hope this helps you.

Sansa Clip Audiobook Question

Once I downloaded the newest firmware the audiobooks folder started showing up in the windows file explorer. So now I don't have to worry about using media player or anything else. I just plug in my sansa clip, open windows file explorer and drag the folders (1 for each disk) onto my player (into the audiobooks folder).

Here's the link for the download. If it doesn't come up you might want to reformat your sansa clip.
