Question about Computers & Internet
I am unable to play the PC Game called Crysis. When I tried to play, the message popped up saying "error during initialization: video card or driver doesn't support. Separate alpha blend, glow will be disabled". When I clicked "OK", it didn't paly at all and the message kept coming up.
1. Is the video card problem? I am using a Radeon 9200 Pro Family grahic card. Is this card insufficient? What do you recommend?
2. What is the driver issue here?
My PC specs:-
CPU: Pentium 4 (2.4 GHZ)
RAM: 768 MB
Windows: XP Professional
Tq and rgds,
AlanChong20, update you're video casr software. The radeon 9200 last update is listed at this link.
The date for the upgrade is Nov. 15, 2006 No more driver update are being made.
If you're game still gives you the same error try lowering the game graphics detail settings. If set to high, bring them down to medium. It very possible you're card does not have enough memory to play the game. The 9200 is a older card. It may be time to upgrade.
