My screen on my 37" lcd keeps blacking out. I have sound but the picture will black out after watching for a short time. My service plan through Kmart said they won't service it since the company went out of business. I am still under warranty through Kmart and feel they are obligated to fix my tv since I am past the manufacturers warranty. I am fighting this and would like to know who services Olevia tvs and what parts whould need replacing and approximate cost. Can anyone help?

It's your power supply. have it taken care of ASAP before damage happens on the board where it can't be repaired, just replaced, "if they can find one".
When you tune to a station and get sound I presume the screen is black so do the following.
Place a bright flashlight against the screen. Look for an image around the edge of the flashlight. If you see an image the problem is probably one of three causes.
1) Power to the inverter board is bad. 2) Inverter board has failed.
3) The CCFT(cold cathode fluorescent light) are dead.
Someone knowledgeable in electronics can diagnosis it.
you have a broken inverter board. I have a LT30HV, and it had the same problem. The inverter board supplies power to the backlight. Swap it out with a good one, and you're back in business.
To test, take a bright flashlight and point it at the screen just an inch or so off the surface. If you can see your picture, then you have a blown inverter.
it may not be worth fixing it. Wait for a good sale on a new one. My inverter cost about 150, and it was a remanufactured part. Not as good as the original part as it flickers just a tad. I had to take the entire TV apart, with pieces literally everywhere. My cats loved it.
