Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Cannot connect to xbox live using 2wire 2700gh-e modem

2wire is, unfortunately for both of us, incompatible with xbox 360. 2wire says that it is made for computers not video games. But i think, not sure though, if you have a freind with a wireless adaptor borrow it and try it and it may or may not.

Xbox 360 live DNS test failed

if you are connecting directly to the modem, then you are going to need to get the dns info from your ISP. If you have a router just put the router address or let it find it automatically. Also check that the router has the right dns settings from the ISP.

My router :(

verify connectivity with your xbox by checking the UI of the 2wire. go to http://home or http://gateway.2wire.net, & click to the local network icon at the top of the page. You should see the Xbox showing up with its IP, then click on view device details. You can also verify by the MAC address, as all Xboxes start with “00:50:F2”. You can also verify connectivity by pinging the Xbox from the HomePortal. Browse to the HomePortal’s Management page at http://192.168.1.254/management (http://172.16.0.1/management on older HomePortal). On this page, click the “Network Tests” link under “Troubleshooting”. Type the Xbox IP address in the “Host:” field, change “Test:” to 5, and click “Start”. The ping tests the connection to the Xbox five times and returns five successful replies from the IP address.
