The Pioneer multi media reciever box is only serviceable from the manufacture. They should have authorized service reps that they equiped to do service for Pioneer devices. They normaly change boards to service it. The regular service man would only be able to fix a simple cold solder connecton or fix some other simple part of it.

Contact the place where you bought it to find out about servicing it. You may find it cheaper and easier to simply replace it completely. It is very possible that there is no service support for this box. Get an estimate before accepting to service it.

Most of the small electronics of today are throw-away anyways...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have Pioneer plasma screen using a media box. When I switch it on the red and green buttons flash alternately for several minutes before it comes on. Once on the tv works ok. It is only on starting that...

This may be due to the media box taking its good old time to set up when you turn your tv on.
Try without it and see if the problem goes away.
