Question about Televison & Video
We have a pioneer hd plasma screen with a pdp r06xe media receiver box, and the media receiver is faulty, it is flashing the screen pink snow and the setup screen. Have you heard of this before, also where can we get it fixed?
The Pioneer multi media reciever box is only serviceable from the manufacture. They should have authorized service reps that they equiped to do service for Pioneer devices. They normaly change boards to service it. The regular service man would only be able to fix a simple cold solder connecton or fix some other simple part of it.
Contact the place where you bought it to find out about servicing it. You may find it cheaper and easier to simply replace it completely. It is very possible that there is no service support for this box. Get an estimate before accepting to service it.
Most of the small electronics of today are throw-away anyways...
