Add/Remove Window components

Im not sure which file you are referring to but you could just a repair of the installation
this is fot the master boot record

if there are any other files , settings or programs during the repair process options for these should be available

Insert your Windows XP installation CD or recovery disc, and restart the computer.

Instead of attempting to boot Windows as it normally would, the computer will give you an option to boot from the CD.

Press a key when prompted, then wait for the setup program to load.

Press the "R" key on the "Welcome to Setup" screen.

This will cause the CD to launch the Recovery Console instead of attempting to install Windows XP on your computer.

If you have an administrator password on your copy of XP, then you will need to enter it in order to log in to the Recovery Console.

Choose the installation of Windows XP that you want to repair (generally the only option). Wait for the command prompt to appear, then enter "fixmbr." Press "y" when prompted to let the FixMBR utility overwrite the corrupted bootloader with a new copy.

Remove your XP disc or recovery disc, then type "exit" into the command prompt.

The exit command should cause the computer to reboot, allowing the computer to load the new bootloader file and then continue Windows XP startup as normal.

Hope this helps

The MSM 422 Access Point is not booting up, just restarting all the time. This is the error message: CPU: Motorola PowerPC 8241/8245 Version: 5.4 BSP version: 1.3 Bootcode version: 3.0.6 Creation...

I think you need to get the latest firmware and load it. You should be able to stop the bootup as soon as you power it on.
HP Support can be reached at 1-866-my-procurve. Their support group should be able to help out.

This is from a factory repair and maintenance manual for Acer Aspire Laptops. It may work for you.

Forgotten Hard Disk Password
When the user keys in the wrong password three times, an error message appears. The user must now reset
the password.
1. Make a note of the error code that is displayed with the error message.
2. Run unlock6.exe from the DOS prompt in the following format:
unlock6 XXXXX 00
(XXXXX = HDD password error code, 00 = CRC base - default is 00)
3. Select Upper case ACSII Code from the screen that appears. The HDD master password is displayed.
Make a note of this password.
4. Reset your system. When the Enter Primary Master HDD User Password prompt appears, enter the
password you made a note of in step 3.
Resetting a BIOS Password
The user can reset a BIOS password using the clnpwd.exe utiility.
1. Copy clnpwd.exe to a DOS boot up disk (or flash drive).
2. Boot your system in DOS mode.
3. Execute clnpwd.exe from the boot up disk (or flash drive).
4. Press 1 or 2 to reset the required password as shown on screen.
5. A confirmation message appears when the process is successful.

The screen is red blue and green and says serial

hi

you might have a problem with side camera button. try to clean that button and make a reset.

the tricolor screen represent bootloader state.

to enter bootloader there's only one way on this device: reseting and holding the camera button.

if you can get out from this state, try making a clean boot, erasing all data and restoring to factory defaults:

press and hold the 2 action keys (the 2 buttons above the joystick) and make a reset with the edge of your stylus.

when message appears on screen, follow the directions.

AFTER FLASHING MOBILE DEAD POWER IS`NT ON.

It sounds like you've had problems writing a custom ROM to your phone. You have done it correctly using the CID unlock. Are you using the same WM6 ROM that you have done before?

Firstly, turn off your XDA Orbit.
Then hold down the voice recorder button on the left side of the phone
Then press and hold the power button on the right side of the phone, whilst still holding the voice button on the left.

This should get you into "bootloader mode" which will display a screen with red, green, blue and white stripes - yu should now be able to instlal your ROM using the RRU from the computer with USB connection

If that is not possible, you can install the ROM from a microSD card if you first format the card into Fat32 file system from your computer, then copy the NBH file from your ROM to the microSD card. You will need to rename the NBH file from the ROM to ARTEIMG.NBH for this to work.

Enter bootloader mode and you should see a prompt to press the volume button downwards to start the ROM installation process.

See this page for more information on the MicroSD ROM installation:

My cell phone,a motorola v3 every time i turn it on it will say eed a bootloader. What is a bootloader?

Your phone needs to be reflashed if you have an usb cable you may beable to find this online otherwise you will need to send it to your provider for the flash.A boot loader is a small program that puts a computers operating system into memory, this is so when the phone in this case is turned on or reset the basic input output system (bios) runs initial test then transfers control to the master boot record (mrb)where the bootloader resides.
