- inserted new batteries and when i open the shutter the green power light comes on but the camera will not opperate then i can not get the green light to go out i have to open the battery compartment to get it to go out any one help- barrytstokes

- Yep, the batteries ran out and when I changed them to some new ones, it wouldn't switch on again. At first I thought I'd got some dodgy batteries but then using different ones didn't make any difference. Help please!- AmyBaggott
