Vista Ultimate. The computer was bought 3 weeks ago and worked fine for two weeks. But a week ago sound disappeared. Reinstallation from recovery disk does not help

restore the system and the date that the machine was working before. 2) use the ANTIVIRUS+MALWARE, you can have some virus or malware, pass it. 3) if the problem persist, your computer has software diagnostic, use it and you will have the fix it. God bless you
In the programs that don't work, check your ink settings. Mine kept going to white until I got them set to black as default.
NEVER use system restore unless you have already tried malware scans, spyware scans, virus scans AND registry repair programs to fix software related problems. It is a LAST RESORT ONLY, just like FORMAT C.
The solution to your second problem is to insert the CD Qosmio Player Recovery CD. The buttons on the top do actually work (most of the time) yet it seems for some reason qccasionally it takes the CD refresh to get them working again. The picture and sound are great once you have got them working. So, don't be discouraged it's a great PC (once you have resolved your problems) I have had mine for 3 years w/o problems except for this one just described. Good luck.
One other thing I did have trouble with the Bluetooth, I resolved it by buying a Targus Bluetooth dongle, (disaabling all built in Bluetooth) then everything "paired" and worked easily, (unlike the built-in)
That's not a problem with Vista, rather it's most likely a problem with the web server. Make sure you entered all your web server information in correctly (pop3, SMPT, etc), and make sure your mail server supports MS Outlook 2007. Just double check everything. If that doesn't work, try completely un-installing and re-installing Outlook 2007. If all fails, try downloading a 3rd party mail application and see if that works.
