Question about Lite On (SOHC-5232K) (SOHC-5232K-BULK) CD-RW/DVD-ROM (Combo) Burner
Go to bios settings, usually you go there by pressing F2, or Del, etc , depending on your motherboard.
In the first bios page often you find installed drives, your dvd should be there.
On some motherboards, like many dell's PC MB, you need to do explicitly HDD/cd/dvd autodetections to have the DVD installed . In this case you need to locate the bios command saying autodetect disk drive. If the disk is not detected you may need to check the jumpers at the back of the dvd (eventually test it a Master on single cable). If you are using IDE ribbon cable check also that the cable is plugged in the right way.
Check this page for a general procedure.
